About the studio

A small studio with a very consistent point of view.

We're a senior-led interior design practice working across residential and commercial projects from our base in Nairobi.

Our founder

Juliet Akunda

Juliet is a Kenyan interior designer with over ten years of experience shaping residential and commercial spaces across the country. She majored in interior design and has built a practice grounded in restraint, craft and a deep respect for how people actually live in their rooms.

She leads every project personally, from the first walkthrough to the final styling pass.

Philosophy

We design rooms to reward daily use, not just a first glance.

Our approach begins with how a space is actually used — mornings, weekends, gatherings, quiet evenings — and works outward from that reading. Material, proportion and light do most of the work; the objects come later.

Values

01

Restraint

We remove until only the necessary remains.

02

Craft

We work with people who make things by hand.

03

Longevity

We choose materials that improve with use.

04

Clarity

Every specification, cost and date is written down.

Let's begin.

Every project starts with a single conversation.
